We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our growing team. As a team member, you will provide safe and holistic nursing care to patients in Arcavia service delivery locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

One (1) year of recent experience in the community

Excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis-resolution skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment.
  • Provide nursing care to patients according to the written plan of care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals.
  • Act as a patient advocate by protecting and promoting patient rights.
  • Promote patient safety and assist them in living comfortably in their home environment.
  • Share nursing knowledge and expertise with other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario

We are continually seeking compassionate care givers to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing personal care and support clients with their activities of daily living to lead a better life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, personal hygiene, skincare, light meal preparation, feeding etc.) in client’s home.
  • Continually assess, anticipate, identify, and respond to new and changing needs of clients as appropriate.
  • Perform delegated and/or assigned tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
  • Staff are required to travel within assigned region between clients’ homes.
Qualifications
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program.
  • RN/RPN Student who with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program.
  • Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife or Physician with their OPSWA registration.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job (ex: ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel and reach freely for extended periods, ability to lift 23 kg independently, ability to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting; able to reposition clients in bed).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check.
  • Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months).
  • Fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
